happy Halloween
howlooo there! It`s halloween! I hope everyone had a great evening.
Oddly enough, today is my parents anniversary. They were married 52 years ago! My mom has endured my dad that long is a scary feat all in its own, so fitting they should be married today. lol oh, they also only knew each other three months. I`d say that`s pretty darn impressive.
So after staying up all night last night, I woke up late today, but managed to pull myself together to portray a pretty good Fat Tony mob look. I had quite a few people fooled; until I opened my mouth. I would like to say that Calgary, I am disappointed in you! On the ride to work I was the only one that was dressed up. At work in my area, there were two out of 30! The information technology department, they get right into it. But we in accounts payable are BORING!!!! By the end of the day, time to go home... nobody on the ride home was dressed up either! Adults that grew up with Halloween, you aren`t too old to still be a child!! Come one! next year, make a pact to dress up and bring fun back.
This year, we got way more kids than last year. I think last year there were a total of five. This year we had between 20 - 30. (wow, I know... lol) there were some sooooo sooo cute little girls as snow white, and princesses and fairies. I also got a bunch of older kids, two of which put on a little bit of makeup and figured that was a costume. Under normal circumstances, I would have argued that they are disgracing the dress up world, but after viewing the ride to and from work, I was happy to see them. I also got a few older boys, in very nice costumes, that Kim would have thought to be really hott!! When I told Kimmie what she missed, she first asked me if I gave them candy, and I said - of course I did, there were four of them and I didin`t want to get beat up! hahah
Well, good night everyone!
(some day I`m sure there will be a following and I won`t feel like I`m doing nothing but talk to myself!! hahah)
Signing off, Life with Rosie!
