Singing the Blues

This is my opinion and my opinion only.  Not meant to cause grief or offend anyone, but it is a free country and today I'm exercising my rights.

Today is an almost beautiful day in the world of soccer.  It looked to be very promising, but, unfortunately due to some idiotic ref calls, the day isn't as good as I had hoped.

To start - Manchested United vs Manchester City.  Man City has been on fire this season, and this game was an important one.  Man City became victorious - not just a three point win - but anialation - embarassment - on Man U's turf!  It was beautiful.  The goals wouldn't stop coming!  6-1!!  Bloody amazing!!!!  My morning was off to a great start.

The second game on the agenda was my favorite EPL team - Chelsea vs QPR.  From the first three minutes I knew it didn't feel right.  I had a bad feeling in my bones.  The ref is calling everything on Chelsea but nothing on QPR.  First Luiz gives a "foul" in the box.  1-0 QPR.  Woah, a red card pulled out for Bosingwa for a questionable decision.  A whole bunch more fouls and then Drogba goes in for a two footed foul.  I personally think it was just unfortunate, I don't think intentional, and then out comes the red card.  The Blues are now down two men, and the first half isn't even over yet.

Not sure what Villas-Boas said to the boys but they came out and dominated the whole second half.  Several scoring opps, but unfortunately, they couldn't find the back of the net.  Fortunately, neither could the Rangers.  Two player advantage, and they were scoreless.  Final 1-0 for QPR.  I have to send my admiration and hats off to the Blues.  They came back and fought right to the end.  I'm proud of you boys!

That's the story today folks!!
