Friday's Blog one day late..
Well Hello... This is my Friday Post. Sorry for the time delay.
Today's topic will have things from Friday - Monkey's return home! yippee!!!
Friday, it was a Friday. A nice Friday. A Friday filled with excitement - NOT! hahaha
Work was very slow, there was hardly anyone in the office. I have been fighting a cold of some sort, so I wasn't really feeling being there, but I suffered it out, got some work finished up. Cleaned off my desk so when I go in on Tuesday, it will be a happy feeling. At lunch time I did go to the Calgary Transit lost and found. When I got there I told the guy my monkeys were turned in by my bus driver on Monday. I told him they were mittens and he asked me to describe them. "we get a lot of mittens returned". I said again, they are monkeys. They're brown and white with ears on the side and button eyes. After what seemed like an eternity, he returned with my monkeys. I was very happy. I could retire the red mitten and the blue glove I was wearing.
I then went to shoppers drug mart to pick up some tea tree oil. In May my daughter and I got our cartlidge pierced. I have been getting keloids lately and tea tree oil is the bomb! Having no more, I needed to buy some. I also bought some moleskin, because I have a pair of boots that are a 1/2 size too big, and developed a blister - ow! I also bought a hoop for my cartlidge - Kim replaced her stud with a hoop and has no problems what so ever anymore.
Time to go home. I was so looking forward to popping that ugly keloid. OK, not really, but was looking forward to a solution to a pain in my ear. When I arrive home, there is no one here. Being the confident woman that I am, I tried to tackle the ear problem on my own. I open the tea tree, start dabbing it on with a q-tip, and voila, the keloid starts to bleed, I squeeze it a little more, and it squirts out like a pusy zit! I almost puked. Blood running down my ear, my earring is out, I'm squeezing all the guts out, and tried to put my hoop in. Whatever possessed me to put in a new earring with an infection in my ear, I will never know!! I can't find the hole. Now I'm really freaking out because - wow, the hole is closing - my earring has been out for only a half hour and it's already closing. I am about to give up, when the boyfriend comes home. I asked him to help me and he ends up pushing the earring through my ear. YOWZERS!!! What pain...
We watched a movie and I fell asleep in his lap. Now there's excitement! hahahah
Good night!
