Unforgettable! That's what I wish I could do...
So leaving off from Saturday, I'm sure Sunday wasn't much better, but since that was a week ago, I don't remember the finer details, this is much harder than it appears, keeping up with the blog. I do enjoy writing though, I should spank me for being distant!! Hence the title of the blog... unforgettable. It seems my life is very forgettable, at least from one week ago!
Let me start with this... Monday was my day off, I remember that! I also remember, waiting for Abdi to come home from work (he works night shifts), but I was kind of being a little sneaky, I didn't tell him I was off Monday when he went to work Sunday night. I had feelings that he doesn't come home right after work, and SURPRISE, I was right. However, I will give him this - he was out trying to find tires for the jeep we have been borrowing. I firmly believe that because I slid into the curb the very first time we had snow THREE times, plus I almost didn't make it up our driveway a couple of times, and it's really NOT a big driveway, we need something other than an all season tire on it, if we are keeping it. So I enjoyed my morning cleaned up a bit, the girls both had the day off, so we all decided to go out for lunch. I do enjoy those days! But by the time Abdi got home, and Kim got ready, then we drove to Kim's work to pick up something she forgot and the finally decided where to go, it was almost an early supper.
The final decision was made, we usually go to Boston Pizza by our house, but we were all thinking of going somewhere different. Montana's was close by Kim's work so off we went. We went in and was seated after about 10 minutes of standing at the doorway - waiting. There were three other tables that had people in them. So really??? Why did it take you soooo long to notice three grown people standing at the doorway..
We finally get seated and start looking through the menu and decisions were made. Sweet potato fries for all of us! When our meals finally came I believe Kim had 12 fries on her plate, I had maybe 15 and Santana made off like a winner with probably 20. The waitress came by and asked if we needed anything, so I mentioned that lack there of - of sweet potato fries, and she commented that the fries are weighed and we all have the same amount. Well my daughter wasn't happy with that so she ordered a side (only after having to explain to the waitress it was another side order she wanted - the waitress just stared at us like she was looking through us). This episode only encouraged my kids to be a little more immature. The service was going downhill. The side order came with maybe another 15 fries on it. It was $4.99. We could have gone to Costco and gotten a huge bag for that much money!
Santana ordered a chicken wrap, and Kim a burger and me the steak sandwich. Foodwise, it was ok. Except for the MIA SPF's. Santana gets through the first half of the wrap, and starts in on the second one, and bites into a neck bone from the chicken! It was sooo gross!! She took a picture of it and then finished the wrap.
So now the pictures on the coloring paper are going weirder and weirder. The friendly neighborhood penis pics start popping up. The nasty words of you suck - pointing at the penis but referring to the waitress, even I started in on the penis draw off! But I wasn't lucky enough to get unnoticed. I drew my rendition of a penis, just as the waitress came by. I know she saw. I turned red very quickly.. lightening fast reflexes I dropped my hand over the picture and when she turned away, I quickly turned my penis into a puppet on a sail boat! Very creative I know... hahahaha. With that done, we quickly exited the building. Oh yes, we did pay. Don worry! We would never in my lifetime do a d & d (dine and dash...)
That concludes Monday's adventures that remain at the top of my head. I'm sure there was more fun once we got home, but couldn't compare the dinner!
Stay tuned for more weird and wacky tales from the Rosie!
